This moves the <mach/gpio.h> header in the AT91 platform down into the machine directory and removes the reliance on MACH_NEED_GPIO_H from the AT91. This does not move the platform to GENERIC_GPIO but localize the remaining work to be done for this to the mach-at91 folder. Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. This will enable moving timer drivers into drivers/clocksource without having to place a public prototype of each struct sys_timer object into include/linux; the intent is to create a single of_clocksource_init() function that determines which timer driver to initialize by scanning the device dtree, much like the proposed irqchip_init() at: http://www.spinics.net/lists/arm-kernel/msg203686.html Includes mach-omap2 fixes from Igor Grinberg. at91_set_serial_console is used to define the default console of linux. This is already manage by the cmdline. And if the boot loader can not be modified you can still set it by enabling the CONFIG_CMDLINE_EXTEND option. And then the command-line arguments provided by the boot loader will be appended to the default kernel command string. In the AT91SAM9263 Manual the HFP part in LCDTIM2 is described as follows: * HFP: Horizontal Front Porch Number of idle LCDDOTCK cycles at the end of the line. Idle period is (HFP+2) LCDDOTCK cycles. It is only a minor issue. I also changed all boards using atmel_lcdfb I found to respect the new calculation. Currently atmel_nand driver used by AT91 and AVR32 calls a special callback which return nand partition table and number of partitions. However in all boards this callback returns just static data. On all at91 except rm9200 and x40 have the System Controller starts at address 0xffffc000 and has a size of 16KiB. The recently modified nand buswitth configuration is not aligned with board reality: the double footprint on boards is always populated with 8bits buswidth nand flashes. So we have to consider that without particular configuration the 8bits buswidth is selected by default. Moreover, the previous logic was always using !board_have_nand_8bit(), we change it to a simpler: board_have_nand_16bit().
