Beaglebone Black doesn't have AES and SHAM enabled like the original Beaglebone White dts. This breaks applications that leverage the crypto blocks so fix this by enabling these nodes in the am335x-bone-common.dtsi. With this change, enabling the nodes in am335x-bone.dts is no longer required so remove them. Beaglebone white and beaglebone black differ in tiny little aspects. This is the reason why we maintain seperate dts for these platforms. However, there is no real way to decode from dtb which platform it is since compatible and model name are the same for both platforms. Fix this so that beaglebone black and beaglebone are identifiable, while maintaining compatibility for older zImages which might use old beaglebone compatible flag for black as well. In "ARM: dts: am33xx: correcting dt node unit address for usb", the usb_ctrl_mod and cppi41dma nodes were updated with the correct register addresses. However, the dts files that reference these nodes were not updated, and those devices are no longer being enabled. This patch corrects the references for the affected dts files. 3.3V fixed regulator does not belong to TPS node - as a result the fixed regulator is never probed and MMC is continually deferred due to lack of regulator. The On Chip Peripherals (OCP) device node is a simplified representation of the AM33XX SoC interconnect. An OCP dev node is already defined in the am33xx.dtsi Device Tree source file included by am33xx based boards so there is no need to redefine this on each board DT file. Also, the OCP and IP modules directly connected to it are SoC internal details that is better to keep outside of board files. am33xx boards DTS include the am33xx.dtsi Device Tree source file that already define a pinmux device node for the AM33XX SoC Pin Multiplex. Redefining this for each board makes the Device Tree files harder to modify and maintain so let's just use what is already defined in the included .dtsi file. This matches the vendor 3.8.x configuration that is shipping with the boards. The LED layout is now: USR0: heartbeat USR1: mmc0 (micro-SD slot) USR2: cpu0 USR3: mmc1 (eMMC) The cpu0 triggers was put in between the mmc triggers to make is easier to see where the disk activity is. The BeagleBone Black is basically a regular BeagleBone with eMMC and HDMI added, so create a common dtsi both can use. IMPORTANT: booting the existing am335x-bone.dts will blow up the HDMI transceiver after a dozen boots with an uSD card inserted because LDO will be at 3.3V instead of 1.8. MMC support for AM335x still isn't in, so only the LDO change has been added. So I assumed that Beagle bone has only one USB port in host mode because the micro USB connector had an USB-UART there. I was wrong a little. The second port runs on host mode, but the micro USB plug is connected to an internal HUB with two ports: one to the USB-UART and one to musb instance one. For that reason, this patch enables both ports: the primary in device mode only and the second in host mode only. This relfects the code and dts requires changes due to recent .dts binding updates: - use mg prefix for the Metor Graphics specific attributes - use power in mA not in mA/2 as specifed in the USB2.0 specification - remove the child node for USB. This moves the two instances from the big node into two child nodes. The glue layer ontop does almost nothing. There is one devices containing the control module for USB (2) phy, (2) usb and later the dma engine. The usb device is the "glue device" which contains the musb device as a child. This is what we do ever since. The new file musb_am335x is just here to prob the new bus and populate child devices. There are a lot of changes to the dsps file as a result of the changes: - musb_core_offset This is gone. The device tree provides memory ressources information for the device there is no need to "fix" things - instances This is gone as well. If we have two instances then we have have two child enabled nodes in the device tree. For instance the SoC in beagle bone has two USB instances but only one has been wired up so there is no need to load and init the second instance since it won't be used. - dsps_glue is now per glue device In the past there was one of this structs but with an array of two and each instance accessed its variable depending on the platform device id. - no unneeded copy of structs I do not know why struct dsps_musb_wrapper is copied but it is not necessary. The same goes for musb_hdrc_platform_data which allocated on demand and then again by platform_device_add_data(). One copy is enough. Add pinmux configurations for MII based CPSW ethernet to am335x-bone. Default mode is nothing but the values required for the module during active state. With this configurations module is functional as expected. Sleep mode is nothing but the values required for the module during inactive state. xdma_event_intr1.clkout2 pad can be used to source clock from either 32K OSC or any of the PLL (except MPU) outputs. On the existing AM335x based boards (EVM, EVM-SK and Bone), this pad is used to feed the clock to audio codes. So, this patch configures the pinmux to get clkout2 on the pad. Add DT OPP table for AM33XX family of devices. This data is decoded by OF with of_init_opp_table() helper function. Ideally in common SoC dtsi file should set all modules to "disabled" state and it should get enabled in respective EVM/Board dts file as per usage. This patch sets default status of all modules to "disabled" state in am33xx.dtsi file. Currently there are no modules supported as part of Bone and EVM dts support, so care to add entry "status = "okay"" while adding support for any module.
