Implicitly the query depth is limited by the length of the QAPI schema query, but 'alternate' and 'array' QAPI meta-types don't consume a part of the query string thus a loop on such types would get our traversal code stuck in an infinite loop. Prevent this from happening by limiting the nesting depth to 1000. Signed-off-by: NPeter Krempa <pkrempa@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: NDaniel P. Berrangé <berrange@redhat.com>

Starting from version 4.1 qemu allows reporting 'features' for a given QAPI type object. This allows reporting support of fixes and additions which are otherwise invisible in the QAPI schema. Implement a possibility to query 'features' in the QAPI query strings. Signed-off-by: NPeter Krempa <pkrempa@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: NJiri Denemark <jdenemar@redhat.com>

Return 1 if the schema entry was found optionally returning it rather than depending on the returned object. Some callers don't care which schema object belongs to the query, but rather only want to know whether it exists. Additionally this will allow introducing boolean queries for checking if enum values exist. Signed-off-by: NPeter Krempa <pkrempa@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: NJán Tomko <jtomko@redhat.com>
