Allows files with merge status to be staged using workbench.action.git.stage.

* added missing case for isValidBranchName . at end of name

* added correctBranchName function
this function will convert any invalid charcters from the branch name to -

* git quickopen to correct invalid branch names
instead of not showing any branches when trying to create a new branch

* revert to normal regex instead of groups

* do not correct empty branch names

* correct invalid input name for BranchCommand

* correct invalid input name for BranchCommand

* revert misscomitted settings.json change

* hygeine formatting
