I made some rewrites on top of the first pass for both grammatical correctness and readability.
The Chinese text had a couple of mistakes, which will be sent in a separate tiny pull request.
Some notes:
-
I was not sure how faithful I should be wrt the original text, so there is slight modification throughout. The philosophy being that a tutorial should try to be as concise as possible. I generally assume that the audience has extremely low attention span. On the other hand, successful tech documentation can help or break a SaaS startup, so the competition in the documentation space is fierce.
-
Some context may not convey well. I am not sure if the relationship between Mother's Day and Carnations makes sense to all audience. We could add a note saying that it is a Chinese thing or something in order to avoid confusing readers.

The meta logic is structured very differently in the Chinese text. Oftentimes, English readers expect the main point to be brought up first, whereas the Chinese text leads a story to a logical conclusion before introducing the main points. I attempted some modifications where I saw convenient.
