Current sh-hspi had used platform-specific speed. This patch remove it, and use spi_transfer specific speed. It removes unnecessary flags from struct sh_hspi_info, but struct sh_hspi_info is still exist, since sh-hspi needs platform info in the future. Even when CONFIG_MULTI_IRQ_HANDLER is selected, the core code requires the arch_irq_handler_default macro to be defined as a fallback. It turns out nobody is using that particular feature as both PXA and shmobile have all their machine descriptors populated with the interrupt handler, leaving unused code (or empty macros) in their entry-macro.S file just to be able to compile entry-armv.S. Make CONFIG_MULTI_IRQ_HANDLER exclusive wrt arch_irq_handler_default, which allows to remove one test from the hot path. Also cleanup both PXA and shmobile entry-macro.S. PPI handling is a bit of an odd beast. It uses its own low level handling code and is hardwired to the local timers (hence lacking a registration interface). Instead, switch the low handling to the normal SPI handling code. PPIs are handled by the handle_percpu_devid_irq flow. This also allows the removal of some duplicated code. Fix interrupt priority level handling on SH-Mobile ARM. SH-Mobile ARM platforms using multiple interrupt priority levels need this patch to fix a potential dead lock that may occur if multiple interrupts with different levels are pending simultaneously. The default INTC configuration is to use the same priority level for all interrupts, so this issue does not trigger by default. It is however common for board code to override the interrupt priority for certain interrupt sources depending on the application. Without this fix such boards may lock up. In detail, this patch updates the INTC code in entry-macro.S to make sure that the INTLVLA register gets set as expected. To trigger this bug modify the board specific code to adjust the interrupt priority level for the ethernet chip. After changing the priority level simply use flood ping to drown the board with interrupts. This patch applies to INTCA-based processors such as sh7372, sh7377 and sh7372. GIC-based processors are not affected. Suitable for v2.6.37-rc and stable from v2.6.34 to v2.6.36. This patch adds initial support for Renesas SH-Mobile AG5. At this point the AG5 CPU support is limited to the ARM core, SCIF serial and a CMT timer together with L2 cache and the GIC. The AG5EVM board also supports Ethernet. Future patches will add support for GPIO, INTCS, CPGA and platform data / driver updates for devices such as IIC, LCDC, FSI, KEYSC, CEU and SDHI among others. The code in entry-macro.S will be cleaned up when the ARM IRQ demux code improvements have been merged. Depends on the AG5EVM mach-type recently registered but not yet present in arch/arm/tools/mach-types. As the AG5EVM board comes with 512MiB memory it is recommended to turn on HIGHMEM. This adds preliminary support for the SH-Mobile G-series. The SH-Mobile G-series is a series of ARM/SH multi-core CPUs that aside from the ARM MPU are primarily composed of existing SH IP blocks. This includes initial support for the SH7367 (SH-Mobile G3) CPU and the G3EVM reference board. Only timer, serial console, and NOR flash are supported at this point. Patches for the interrupt controller, pinmux support, clock framework and runtime pm will be submitted as feature patches on top of this. Now that Linux includes support for the Atmel AT91SAM9260 and AT91SAM9261 processors in addition to the original Atmel AT91RM9200 (with support for more AT91 processors pending), the "mach-at91rm9200" and "arch-at91rm9200" directories should be renamed to indicate their more generic nature. This patch includes a number of small changes for integrating the AT91SAM9261 and AT91SAM0260 support. * Can only select support for one AT91 processor at a time. * Remove most of the remaining static memory mapping for the AT91RM9200. * Reserve 1Mb of memory below the IO for mapping the internal SRAM and any custom board-specific devices (ie, FPGA). * The SAM9260 has more serial ports, so increase the maximum to 7. * Define the standard chipselect addresses, and define other addresses relative to those. * CLOCK_TICK_RATE is different on the SAM926x's. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
