We have a mixture of different devices with different register layouts, but we group all the bits together in an opaque mess. Split them out into those which are L2C-310 specific and ones which refer to earlier devices. Provide full auxiliary control register definitions. Since Exynos SoCs does not follow most of the semantics of older SoCs when configuring the system to enter sleep, there is no reason to rely on the legacy Samsung PM core anymore. This patch adds local Exynos suspend ops and removes all the code left unnecessary. As a side effect, suspend support on Exynos becomes multiplatform-friendly. Trying to resume l2x0 if it was not enabled before suspend leads to system crash. This patch prevents this by checking if l2x0_regs_phys is a valid pointer to l2x0 context data saved on initialization. Only cortex-a9 based samsung platforms have l2x0 cache controller. Hence check the same before restoring the cache in resume. This is needed for single kernel image. Signed-off-by: NInderpal Singh <inderpal.singh@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: NKukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>

This patch adds code to resume L2 before MMU is enabled in suspend and cpuidle resume paths. s3c_cpu_resume is moved to the data section with appropriate comments. The sleep code for S5PV210 and EXYNOS4 are identical; moreover S5p64X0 and S5PC100 for which support will be added soon can use the same procedure. Create a common sleep code in the plat-s5p directory so that it can be re-used. Signed-off-by: NAbhilash Kesavan <a.kesavan@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: NKukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>

Move the call to cpu_suspend into C code, and noticing that all the s3c_cpu_save implementations are now identical, we can move this into the common samsung code. Signed-off-by: NRussell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

s3c_cpu_save does not need to save any registers with the new cpu_suspend calling convention. Remove these redundant instructions. Signed-off-by: NRussell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

cpu_suspend() has a weird calling method which makes it only possible to call from assembly code: it returns with a modified stack pointer to finish the suspend, but on resume, it 'returns' via a provided pointer. We can make cpu_suspend() appear to be a normal function merely by swapping the resume pointer argument and the link register. Do so, and update all callers to take account of this more traditional behaviour.
