    Given that the author used an ß at all in a source file
    indicates that the real name has in fact a 'ß' and not an 'ss',

The SoSSI driver should already take care of this by enabling / disabling
its clock when necessary, so this legacy callout from the PM idle code
is not needed any more.

ICC likes to complain about storage class not being first, GCC doesn't
care much (except for cases like "inline static").
have a hard time seeing how it could break anything.
