The kernel.h macro DIV_ROUND_CLOSEST performs the computation (x + d/2)/d but is perhaps more readable. The semantic patch that makes this change is as follows: (http://www.emn.fr/x-info/coccinelle/) // <smpl> @haskernel@ @@ #include <linux/kernel.h> @depends on haskernel@ expression x,__divisor; @@ - (((x) + ((__divisor) / 2)) / (__divisor)) + DIV_ROUND_CLOSEST(x,__divisor) // </smpl> Signed-off-by: NJulia Lawall <julia@diku.dk> Signed-off-by: NRalf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>

Impact: change calling convention of existing clock_event APIs struct clock_event_timer's cpumask field gets changed to take pointer, as does the ->broadcast function. Another single-patch change. For safety, we BUG_ON() in clockevents_register_device() if it's not set. Signed-off-by: NRusty Russell <rusty@rustcorp.com.au> Cc: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu>
