Commit [0] stopped setting fix.smem_start and fix.smem_len when creating the fbdev. [0] 2f1eab8d drm/exynos/fbdev: don't set fix.smem/mmio_{start,len} However, smem_len is used by some userland applications to calculate the size for mmap. In particular, it is used by xf86-video-fbdev: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/tree/hw/xfree86/fbdevhw/fbdevhw.c?id=xorg-server-1.15.99.903#n571 So, let's restore setting the smem_len to unbreak things for these users. Note: we are still leaving smem_start set to 0. This patch adds non-continuous clock mode support Clock mode on Clock Lane is continuous clock by default. So if we want to transmit data in non-continuous clock mode to reduce power consumption, then host driver should set DSIM_CLKLANE_STOP bit. In this case, host controller turns off HS clock between high speed transmissions. For this, this patch adds a new bit, DSIM_CLKLANE_STOP, and makes the host driver sets this bit only in case that dsi->mode_flags has MIPI_DSI_CLOCK_NON_CONTINUOUS flag. One step closer to dropping all the drm_bus_* code: Add a driver->set_busid() callback and make all drivers use the generic helpers. Nouveau is the only driver that uses two different bus-types with the same drm_driver. This is totally broken if both buses are available on the same machine (unlikely, but lets be safe). Therefore, we create two different drivers for each platform during module_init() and set the set_busid() callback respectively. Currently the DRM_IOCTL_EXYNOS_G2D_GET_VER ioctl always succeeds, even if no G2D support is available. Let the ioctl fail when this is the case, so that userspace can accurately probe for G2D support. This also fixes the exynos tests in libdrm. There 'g2d_init' doesn't fail when G2D is absent, leading to a segfault later. Signed-off-by: NTobias Jakobi <tjakobi@math.uni-bielefeld.de> Signed-off-by: NINki Dae <inki.dae@samsung.com>

Both exynos_g2d_set_cmdlist_ioctl and exynos_g2d_exec_ioctl don't check if the G2D was succesfully probe. If that is not the case, then g2d_priv is just NULL and extracting 'dev' from it in the next step is going to produce a kernel oops. Add proper checks and return ENODEV if the G2D is not available.
