This adds an extra argument to gfs2_trans_add_bh() to indicate whether the bh being added to the transaction is metadata or data. Its currently unused since all existing callers set it to 1 (metadata) but following patches will make use of it. Signed-off-by: NSteven Whitehouse <swhiteho@redhat.com>

We no longer allocate a dinode on the stack in init_dinode() and we no longer use gfs2_dinode_out (eliminating one copy) and gfs2_meta_header_in (eliminating another copy). The meta_header_in fucntion is now no longer referenced from outside gfs2_ondisk.c, so make it static. Signed-off-by: NSteven Whitehouse <swhiteho@redhat.com>

This is the core of the distributed lock manager which is required to use GFS2 as a cluster filesystem. It is also used by CLVM and can be used as a standalone lock manager independantly of either of these two projects. It implements VAX-style locking modes. sparse can't parse a struct definition in include/asm-powerpc/lppaca.h, even though gcc can accept it. The form looks like this: struct __attribute__((whatever)) foo { }; An equivalent that both gcc and sparse can handle is struct foo { } __attribute__((whatever)); This is the only definition of this type in the tree, and fixing it is easier than fixing sparse. Signed-off-by: NBryan O'Sullivan <bos@serpentine.com> [ Side note: fixing sparse wouldn't be hard, but the "attribute at the end" version is the canonical one, and the one that makes sense. So let's just fix the kernel instead. Luc Van Oostenryck already sent out a sparse patch to the sparse mailing list in case anybody cares. -- Linus ] Signed-off-by: NLinus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>

There are a couple of problems in the DMA setup code for skge. * In the 64 bit case, it doesn't set the consistent mask. * In the 32 bit case, the error check is backwards! It likely will only be visible as a bug on 64 bit platforms. Signed-off-by: NStephen Hemminger <shemminger@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: NJeff Garzik <jgarzik@pobox.com>

Fix problems with Yukon FE rev 2 chipset. Don't cut and paste bugs in from sk98lin driver. Change how the ram buffer is divided up, and make the math clearer.
