The existing asm-generic/atomic.h only defines the atomic_long type. This renames it to atomic-long.h so we have a place to add a truly generic atomic.h that can be used on all non-SMP systems. This fixes up a typo in the ll/sc based cmpxchg code which apparently wasn't getting a lot of testing due to the swapped old/new pair. With that fixed up, the ll/sc code also starts using it and provides its own atomic_add_unless(). Signed-off-by: NAoi Shinkai <shinkoi2005@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: NPaul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

The atomic_t type cannot currently be used in some header files because it would create an include loop with asm/atomic.h. Move the type definition to linux/types.h to break the loop. This follows the sparc changes a439fe51. Most of the moving about was done with Sam's directions at: http://marc.info/?l=linux-sh&m=121724823706062&w=2 with subsequent hacking and fixups entirely my fault. This implements kernel-level atomic rollback built on top of gUSA, as an alternative non-IRQ based atomicity method. This is generally a faster method for platforms that are lacking the LL/SC pairs that SH-4A and later use, and is only supportable on legacy cores. We have a few different ways to do the atomic operations, so split them out in to different headers rather than bloating atomic.h. Kernelspace gUSA will take this up to a third implementation. Signed-off-by: NPaul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

gcc4 gets a bit pissy about the outputs: include/asm/atomic.h: In function 'atomic_add': include/asm/atomic.h:37: error: invalid lvalue in asm statement include/asm/atomic.h:30: error: invalid lvalue in asm output 1 ... this ended up being a thinko anyways, so just fix it up. Verified for proper behaviour with the older toolchains, too. Signed-off-by: NPaul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

Several counters already have the need to use 64 atomic variables on 64 bit platforms (see mm_counter_t in sched.h). We have to do ugly ifdefs to fall back to 32 bit atomic on 32 bit platforms. The VM statistics patch that I am working on will also make more extensive use of atomic64. This patch introduces a new type atomic_long_t by providing definitions in asm-generic/atomic.h that works similar to the c "long" type. Its 32 bits on 32 bit platforms and 64 bits on 64 bit platforms. Also cleans up the determination of the mm_counter_t in sched.h. Introduce an atomic_inc_not_zero operation. Make this a special case of atomic_add_unless because lockless pagecache actually wants atomic_inc_not_negativeone due to its offset refcount. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
