Place reinclusion guards on linux/pmu.h otherwise the UAPI splitter won't insert the #include to include the UAPI header from the kernel header. Signed-off-by: NDavid Howells <dhowells@redhat.com>

This fixes a few issues with via-pmu based backlight control. First, it fixes a sign problem with the setup of the backlight curve since the `range' value there -can- (and will) go negative. Then, it reworks the interaction between this and the via-pmu sleep code to properly restore backlight on wakeup from sleep. The generic LED code now makes sure that suspended devices don't blink, so we no longer need to do it ourselves. For the suspend to disk case, however, we need to make sure that we don't blink if the PMU sysdev was suspended before the LED device. This patch fixes several problems: - The legacy backlight value might be set at interrupt time. Introduced a worker to prevent it from directly calling the backlight code. - via-pmu allows the backlight to be grabbed, in which case we need to prevent other kernel code from changing the brightness. - Don't send PMU requests in via-pmu-backlight when the machine is about to sleep or waking up. - More Kconfig fixes. This patch contains a total rewrite of the backlight infrastructure for portable Apple computers. Backward compatibility is retained. A sysfs interface allows userland to control the brightness with more steps than before. Userland is allowed to upload a brightness curve for different monitors, similar to Mac OS X. This is the first part of a rework of the PowerMac i2c code. It completely reworks the "low_i2c" layer. It is now more flexible, supports KeyWest, SMU and PMU i2c busses, and provides functions to match device nodes to i2c busses and adapters. This patch also extends & fix some bugs in the SMU driver related to i2c support and removes the clock spreading hacks from the pmac feature code rather than adapting them to the new API since they'll be replaced by the platform function code completely in patch 3/5 Signed-off-by: NBenjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org> Signed-off-by: NPaul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>

This patch removes CONFIG_PMAC_PBOOK (PowerBook support). This is now split into CONFIG_PMAC_MEDIABAY for the actual hotswap bay that some powerbooks have, CONFIG_PM for power management related code, and just left out of any CONFIG_* option for some generally useful stuff that can be used on non-laptops as well. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
