Just restore the page table instead. Addressing three problem with this change: 1. Calling vm_manager_suspend in the suspend path is problematic cause it wants to wait for the VM use to end, which in case of a lockup never happens. 2. In case of a locked up memory controller unbinding the VM seems to make it even more unstable, creating an unrecoverable lockup in the end. 3. If we want to backup/restore the leftover ring content we must not unbind VMs in between. In order to support snoopable memory on non-LLC architectures (so that we can bind vgem objects into the i915 GATT for example), we have to avoid the prefetcher on the GPU from crossing memory domains and so prevent allocation of a snoopable PTE immediately following an uncached PTE. To do that, we need to extend the range allocator with support for tracking and segregating different node colours. This will be used by i915 to segregate memory domains within the GTT. v2: Now with more drm_mm helpers and less driver interference. To avoid recomputing the display framebuffer offset on gen2/3 pageflips. This is also prep work to do similar trickery on gen4+ Also: - kill "Start", such upper-case remnants from the ddx must surely die. - rename "Offset" to linear_offset, to make it clearer that on gen4+ this is only used by the hw for linear buffers, for tiled buffers it uses the TILEOFF register. - call DSAPADDR DSPLINOFF on gen4+ for the same reason (and because the documentation really renamed the register).
