OMAP1_IO_ADDRESS(), OMAP2_IO_ADDRESS() and IO_ADDRESS() returns cookies for use with __raw_{read|write}* for accessing registers. Therefore, these macros should return (void __iomem *) cookies, not integer values. Doing this improves typechecking, and means we can find those places where, eg, DMA controllers are incorrectly given virtual addresses to DMA to, or physical addresses are thrown through a virtual to physical address translation. Remove includes of asm/hardware.h in addition to asm/arch/hardware.h. Then, since asm/hardware.h only exists to include asm/arch/hardware.h, update everything to directly include asm/arch/hardware.h and remove asm/hardware.h. Signed-off-by: NRussell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

New struct omap_globals contains the omap processor specific module bases. Use omap_globals to set the various base addresses to make detecting omap chip type simpler. Also introduce OMAP1_IO_ADDRESS and OMAP2_IO_ADDRESS for future multi-omap patches. Signed-off-by: NTony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>

This does not play nicely with multi-omap as it cannot be replaced by a function in io.c for omaps with different IO bases. Signed-off-by: NTony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>

This patch changes 24xx to use new register access, except for clock framework. Clock framework register access will get updates in the next patch. Note that board-*.c files change GPMC (General Purpose Memory Controller) access to use gpmc_cs_write_reg() instead of accessing the registers directly. The code also uses gpmc_fck instead of it's parent clock core_l3_ck for GPMC clock. The H4 board file also adds h4_init_flash() function, which specify the flash start and end addresses. Also note that sleep.S removes some unused registers addresses. Signed-off-by: NPaul Walmsley <paul@pwsan.com> Signed-off-by: NTony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>

This patch syncs omap specific headers with linux-omap. Most of the changes needed because of bitrot caused by driver changes in linux-omap tree. Integrating this is needed for adding support for various omap drivers. Signed-off-by: NTony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com> Signed-off-by: NRussell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

Patch from Tony Lindgren This patch adds the missing cache flushes to common low-level init that are needed to access the IO region. These flushes are normally done at the end of devicemaps_init(), but we need to detect the OMAP core type early. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
