On some devices the EEPROMs of Ralink Wi-Fi chips have a default Ralink MAC address set (RT3062F: 00:0C:43:30:62:00, RT3060F: 00:0C:43:30:60:00). Using multiple of these devices in the same network can cause nasty issues. Allow to override the MAC in the EEPROM with (a known good) one set in the device tree to bypass the issue. This enum is already perfectly aliased to enum nl80211_band, and the only reason for it is that we get IEEE80211_NUM_BANDS out of it. Since commit df140465 ("mac80211: remove support for IFF_PROMISC") monitor mode for rt2x00 has been made effectively useless because the hardware filter is configured to drop packets whose intended recipient is not the device, regardless of the presence of monitor mode interfaces. As we're running out of hardware capability flags pretty quickly, convert them to use the regular test_bit() style unsigned long bitmaps. This introduces a number of helper functions/macros to set and to test the bits, along with new debugfs code. The occurrences of an explicit __clear_bit() are intentional, the drivers were never supposed to change their supported bits on the fly. We should investigate changing this to be a per-frame flag. Currently implemented temperature compensation is only valid on some of supported chips. Other chips do not need temperature compensation or need different way to do this (not yet implemented in the rt2800 driver). Trying to do run rt2800_get_gain_calibration_delta() when this is not appropriate on particular chip gives bogus result of TX power and can make connection unstable. This is follow up to commit 8c8d2017 "rt2800: fix RT5390 & RT3290 TX power settings regression". On that commit we avoid setting BBP_R1 register, but the real problem is wrong temperature compensation calculation. This reverts commit eac40d96. It cause random connection drops on RT5390 PCI adapters. On Mediatek there is different driver version available for RT53xx chip based on bus type (2.5.0.3 for PCI and 2.6.1.3 for USB). Hence possibly we should set registers differently based on bus type. But is also possible that new driver (i.e. 2.6.1.3) was not verified on RT53xx USB. Until we figure out how to initialize registers properly for RT53xx just revert commit eac40d96 since it cause regression. In commit 3d81535e (rt2800: 5592: add chip specific vgc calculations) the rt2800_link_tuner function has been modified to adjust VGC level for the RT5592 chipset. On the RT5592 chipset, the VGC level must be adjusted only if rssi is greater than -65. However the current code adjusts the VGC value by 0x10 regardless of the actual chipset if the rssi value is between -80 and -65. Fix the broken behaviour by reordering the if-else statements.
