This driver has the following properties compared to the old driver: 1. Support for multiple interfaces. 2. Interrupt driven I/O as opposed to polling/busy waiting. 3. Support for _one_ repeated start (Sr) condition, which is enough for most real-world applications including all SMBus transfer types. (The hardware does not support issuing arbitrary Sr conditions on the bus.) testing: SoC: at91sam9g45 - BQ20Z80 battery SMBus client. - on a 2.6.38 kernel with several i2c clients (temp-sensor, audio-codec, touchscreen-controller, w1-bridge, io-expanders) Signed-off-by: NNikolaus Voss <n.voss@weinmann.de> Reviewed-by: NFelipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com> Tested-by: NHubert Feurstein <h.feurstein@gmail.com> Tested-by: NLudovic Desroches <ludovic.desroches@atmel.com> Reviewed-by: NNicolas Ferre <nicolas.ferre@atmel.com> [wsa: squashed with the following patches from Ludovic to have some flaws fixed: i2c: at91: use managed resources i2c: at91: add warning about transmission issues for some devices i2c: at91: use an id table for SoC dependent parameters ] Signed-off-by: NLudovic Desroches <ludovic.desroches@atmel.com> Signed-off-by: NWolfram Sang <w.sang@pengutronix.de>

Enable sparse irq support for multisoc image. It involves to add the NR_IRQS_LEGACY offset to static SoC irq number definitions since NR_IRQS_LEGACY irq descs are allocated before AIC requests irq descs allocation. The maxburst/chunk size was taken from the private slave DMA data structure. Use the common API provided by DMA_SLAVE_CONFIG to setup src/dst maxburst values. The ctrla field is not needed anymore in the slave private structure nor the header constants that were located in an architecture specific directory. The at91sam9g45_devices.c file that was using this platform data is also modified to remove this now useless data. This patch introduces DMA_SLAVE_CONFIG to at_hdmac Atmel DMA driver. It is needed to fix a regression in the use of atmel-mci.c driver on Atmel AT91 platforms brouth by e2b35f3d: "dmaengine/dw_dmac: Fix dw_dmac user drivers to adapt to slave_config changes" We remove some parts of the private structure "at_dma_slave" and use the information provided by "struct dma_slave_config": source/destination peripheral registers and access width. AT_DMA_SLAVE_WIDTH_* values used previously are not needed anymore as we now use the standard ones. Although some conversion functions are needed to match register expected values. Some AT91 sub-architecture specific files are slightly touched by this patch but it cannot be split because it can break compilation. Device tree support added to atmel_tclib: the generic Timer Counter library. This is used by the clocksource/clockevent driver tcb_clksrc. Both at91 and avr32 defines its own platform data structure for the macb driver and both share common structures though at91 includes a currently unused phy_irq_pin. Create a common macb_platform_data for macb that both at91 and avr32 can use. In future we can use this to support other architectures that use the same IP block with the macb driver. v2: rename eth_platform_data to macb_platform_data and allow at91_ether to share the platform data with macb.
