Add a defconfig for mach-qcom platforms (copied from msm_defconfig). Although these platforms are part of the multi-platform kernel, it's useful to have a stripped down version of the defconfig that just selects the DT based Qualcomm platforms and drivers. ARCH_MSM is a hidden config option now so this defconfig needs to be updated to select ARCH_MSM_DT instead. While we're here, remove dead symbols (SSBI), drop selected symbols (ZRELADDR, PHYLIB, USB_PHY) and enable the MSM random driver (HW_RANDOM_MSM). The Kconfig entry for USB_EHCI_MSM unconditionally selects USB_MSM_OTG, which is now only visible when USB_PHY is also enabled. A dependency for this has been added in the USB tree, this adds the now missing bit in the defconfig. Signed-off-by: NArnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>

Make msm_defconfig more focused on DT devices, i.e. MSM8660 and MSM8960. This will encourage us to focus our efforts on the devicetree-ification of mach-msm, and help us catch build errors quicker. 26-bit ARM support was removed a long time ago, and this symbol has been defined to be 'y' ever since. As it's never disabled anymore, we can kill it without any side effects. Signed-off-by: NRussell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

Now that all EEPROM drivers live in the same place, let's harmonize their symbol names. Also fix eeprom's dependencies, it definitely needs sysfs, and is no longer experimental after many years in the kernel tree. The MSM architecture covers a wider family of chips than just the MSM7X00A. Move to a more generic name, in perparation for supporting the specific SoC variants as sub-architectures (ARCH_MSM7X01A, ARCH_MSM722X, etc). This gives us ARCH_MSM for the (many) common peripherals. This also removes the unused/obsolete config item MSM7X00A_IDLE. Signed-off-by: NBrian Swetland <swetland@google.com>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
