The Simtec extension didn't follow a specific naming scheme for files and config options until now. This distributed the files throughout the whole mach-s3c24xx directory. This patch fixes the naming of files and option names and also creates a simtec.h header instead of using many one-liners. As the plat/audio-simtec.h only contains the platform-data struct now, it can also move to include/sound in a later patch. Since commit 576d2f25 "ARM: add generic ioremap optimization by reusing static mappings" ioremap() is trying to reuse existing static mapping when possible. The condition checking boundaries of the requested and existing mappings didn't take in-page offset into consideration though, which lead to obscure and hard to debug problems when requested mapping crossed end of the static one. A grep through the kernel source revealed that neither the config-options nor the defined functions are used anywhere in the kernel. There was also no activity in this regard through the last kernel releases, so it seems this situation will not change in the future. Therefore this patch removes this seemingly dead code. We've decided to provide CPU family specific container files (starting with CPU family 15h). E.g. for family 15h we have to load microcode_amd_fam15h.bin instead of microcode_amd.bin Rationale is that starting with family 15h patch size is larger than 2KB which was hard coded as maximum patch size in various microcode loaders (not just Linux). Container files which include patches larger than 2KB cause different kinds of trouble with such old patch loaders. Thus we have to ensure that the default container file provides only patches with size less than 2KB.
