Not all devices attached to an MDIO bus are phys. So add an
mdio_device structure to represent the generic parts of an mdio
device, and place this structure into the phy_device.

Have mdio_alloc() create the array of interrupt numbers, and
initialize it to POLLING. This is what most MDIO drivers want, so
allowing code to be removed from the drivers.

of_phy_find_device() increments the phy struct device refcount, which
we need to properly balance.  Add code to network drivers using this
function to ensure that the struct device refcount is correctly
balanced.

For xgene, looking back in the history, we should be able to use
of_phy_connect() with a zero flags argument for the DT case as this is
how the driver used to operate prior to de7b5b3d ("net: eth: xgene:
change APM X-Gene SoC platform ethernet to support ACPI").

This leaves the Cavium Thunder BGX unfixed; fixing this driver is a
complicated task, one which the maintainers need to be involved with.

The functions kfree() and of_node_put() test whether their argument is NULL
and then return immediately. Thus the test around the call is not needed.

This issue was detected by using the Coccinelle software.

drivers: net: ethernet: xilinx: xilinx_emaclite: revert the original commit "1db3ddff"

Microblaze is a fpga soft core, it can be customized easily, which may
cause many various hardware version strings.

So the original fix patch based on hard-coded compatible version strings
is not a good idea (although it is correct for current issue). For it,
there will be a new solving way soon (which based on the device tree).

The original issue is related with qemu, so can only change the hardware
version string in qemu for it, then keep the original driver no touch (
qemu is for virtualization which has much easier life than real world).

Replace dev_kfree_skb with dev_consume_skb_any in xemaclite_send which
can be called in hard irq and other contexts.  xemacelite_send only
frees skbs that it has successfully transmitted.

None of these files are actually using any __init type directives
and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>.   Most are just a
left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to
code getting copied from one driver to the next.

This covers everything under drivers/net except for wireless, which
has been submitted separately.

This patch sets the protocol selector bits (4:0) of the PHY's MII_ADVERTISE
register (ANAR) when writing ADVERTISE_ALL. The protocol selector bits are
indicating IEEE 803.3u support and are fixed / read-only on some PHYs. Not
setting them correctly on others (like TI DP83630) makes the PHY fall back
to 10M HDX mode which should be avoided.

Tested for TI DP83630 PHY on Microblaze platform.

This patch enables software (and phy device) time stamping. Since this
MAC uses phylib, adding the hooks make hardware time stamping in the phy
possible.
