This patch enables R-Car sound, AK4643 (CN19) and AK4554 (CN20/CN21) codec chip on Bock-W. But, it supports PIO transfer only at this point. User can check sound settings (Dip-switch/PFC etc) via this patch, but will get under/over flow error when playback/capture. Because PIO transfer via SSI will be interrupted "sampling rate" times per 1 second. DMA transfer will be supported when HPB-DMAC was enabled on r8a7778. You will notice strange ALSA sound card HW numbering on Bock-W board. This came from AK4554 strange format on playback/capture. The format on playback/capture is same on "normal" codec chip, but AK4554 was different. Because of that, AK4554 playback/capture are registered as a different sound card. Now that the 'register_type' field of the 'sh_eth' driver's platform data is not used by the driver anymore, it's time to remove it and its initializers from the SH platform code. Also move *enum* declaring values for this field from <linux/sh_eth.h> to the local driver's header file as they're only needed by the driver itself now... The following message is printed on the BOCK-W kernel bootup: sh-pfc pfc-r8a7778: invalid group "sdhi0" for function "sdhi0" In addition, SD card cannot be detected. The reason is apparently that commit ca7bb309 (ARM: shmobile: bockw: add SDHI0 support) matched the previous version of commit 564617d2 (sh-pfc: r8a7778: add SDHI support). Add the missing pin groups according to the BOCK-W board schematics. When changing the name of Ether platform device in the commit c02f8469 (ARM: shmobile: r8a7778: fix Ether device name), I completely forgot that there's also platform device name used in bockw_pinctrl_map[], so the commit "ARM: shmobile: BOCK-W: add Ether support" went in with the old "sh-eth" device name. Now change it to "r8a777x-ether" in accordance with the commits that are now in the 'net- next.git' repository, otherwise BOCK-W Ether support won't work in 3.11. Register Ether device from bockw_init(), passing the platform data to it, adding only the RMII pin group to bockw_pinctrl_map[]. Although the LINK signal exists on the board, it's connected to the link/activity LED output of the PHY, thus the link disappears and reappears after each packet. We'd be better off ignoring such signal and getting the link state from the PHY indirectly. This patch adds SMSC ethernet support on Bock-W Bock-W SMSC needs FPGA settings which enables interrupt. This patch does it on bockw_init() function. As notes for future, this FPGA settings should be updated, since this FPGA is using cascaded interrupt. Current code is assuming that this FPGA interrupt user is only SMSC. Current sh-hspi had used platform-specific speed. This patch remove it, and use spi_transfer specific speed. Even when CONFIG_MULTI_IRQ_HANDLER is selected, the core code requires the arch_irq_handler_default macro to be defined as a fallback. It turns out nobody is using that particular feature as both PXA and shmobile have all their machine descriptors populated with the interrupt handler, leaving unused code (or empty macros) in their entry-macro.S file just to be able to compile entry-armv.S. Make CONFIG_MULTI_IRQ_HANDLER exclusive wrt arch_irq_handler_default, which allows to remove one test from the hot path. Also cleanup both PXA and shmobile entry-macro.S. PPI handling is a bit of an odd beast. It uses its own low level handling code and is hardwired to the local timers (hence lacking a registration interface). Instead, switch the low handling to the normal SPI handling code. PPIs are handled by the handle_percpu_devid_irq flow. This also allows the removal of some duplicated code. Fix interrupt priority level handling on SH-Mobile ARM. SH-Mobile ARM platforms using multiple interrupt priority levels need this patch to fix a potential dead lock that may occur if multiple interrupts with different levels are pending simultaneously. The default INTC configuration is to use the same priority level for all interrupts, so this issue does not trigger by default. It is however common for board code to override the interrupt priority for certain interrupt sources depending on the application. Without this fix such boards may lock up. In detail, this patch updates the INTC code in entry-macro.S to make sure that the INTLVLA register gets set as expected. To trigger this bug modify the board specific code to adjust the interrupt priority level for the ethernet chip. After changing the priority level simply use flood ping to drown the board with interrupts. This patch applies to INTCA-based processors such as sh7372, sh7377 and sh7372. GIC-based processors are not affected. Suitable for v2.6.37-rc and stable from v2.6.34 to v2.6.36. This patch adds initial support for Renesas SH-Mobile AG5. At this point the AG5 CPU support is limited to the ARM core, SCIF serial and a CMT timer together with L2 cache and the GIC. The AG5EVM board also supports Ethernet. Future patches will add support for GPIO, INTCS, CPGA and platform data / driver updates for devices such as IIC, LCDC, FSI, KEYSC, CEU and SDHI among others. The code in entry-macro.S will be cleaned up when the ARM IRQ demux code improvements have been merged. Depends on the AG5EVM mach-type recently registered but not yet present in arch/arm/tools/mach-types. As the AG5EVM board comes with 512MiB memory it is recommended to turn on HIGHMEM.
