Enable QOS feature on AMD.

Following QoS sub-features are supported on AMD if the underlying
hardware supports it:

 - L3 Cache allocation enforcement
 - L3 Cache occupancy monitoring
 - L3 Code-Data Prioritization support
 - Memory Bandwidth Enforcement (Allocation)

There are differences in the way some of the features are implemented.
Separate those functions and add those as vendor specific functions.

The major difference is in MBA feature:

 - AMD uses CPUID leaf 0x80000020 to initialize the MBA features.
 - AMD uses direct bandwidth value instead of delay based on bandwidth values.
 - MSR register base addresses are different for MBA.
 - AMD allows non-contiguous L3 cache bit masks.

The feature bit X86_FEATURE_MBA is detected via CPUID leaf 0x80000008
EBX Bit 06. This bit indicates the support of AMD's MBA feature.

This feature is supported by both Intel and AMD. But they are detected
in different CPUID leaves.

The resource control feature is supported by both Intel and AMD. So,
rename CONFIG_INTEL_RDT to the vendor-neutral CONFIG_RESCTRL.

Now CONFIG_RESCTRL will be used for both Intel and AMD to enable
Resource Control support. Update the texts in config and condition
accordingly.

Bring all the functions that are different between the vendors into the
resource structure and initialize them dynamically. Add _intel suffix to
the Intel-specific functions.

cbm_validate() which does cache bitmask validation, differs between the
vendors as AMD allows non-contiguous masks. So, use separate functions
for Intel and AMD.

Initialize the resource functions that are different between the
vendors. Some features are initialized differently between the vendors.
Add _intel suffix to Intel-specific functions.

For example, the MBA feature varies significantly between Intel and AMD.
Separate the initialization of these resource functions. That way we can
easily add AMD's functions later.

New generation of AMD processors add support for RDT (or QOS) features.
Together, these features will be called RESCTRL. With more than one
vendors supporting these features, it seems more appropriate to rename
these files.

Create a new directory with the name 'resctrl' and move all the
intel_rdt files to the new directory. This way all the resctrl related
code resides inside one directory.

Using an empty (malformed) nodelist that is not caught during mount option
parsing leads to a stack-out-of-bounds access.

The option string that was used was: "mpol=prefer:,".  However,
MPOL_PREFERRED requires a single node number, which is not being provided
here.

Add a check that 'nodes' is not empty after parsing for MPOL_PREFERRED's
nodeid.

The 8250 driver can probe for many variants of the venerable 16550A
serial port. Some of those probes involve long (20ms) mdelay calls,
which delay system boot. Modern systems and virtual machines don't have
those variants.

Provide a Kconfig option to disable probes for 16550A variants.
Disabling this speeds up the boot of a virtual machine with a serial
console by more than 20ms (a substantial fraction of the ~100ms needed
to boot a carefully configured VM).

Before:

We observed heavy tasklist_lock contention when offline tasks
start and end, which caused long scheduling latency and long
period with interrupt off since write_lock_irq() is called.

In extreme cases with tons of concurrent fork and exit events,
it can cause the system hung.

This patch changed them to use trylock, then operations within
lock consume little time, so it naturally addresses the issue.

After this patch, when I launched and killed thousands of tasks,
the latency can reduce from tens of milliscends to around 2ms on
my box.

The patch can pass Unixbench tests, no regression introduced.

By above message, we see that a lot of memcg oom is triggered by
test cases. And has no eligiable process to be killed in that case.
Hence, It will print too much oom message by dump_header, resulting
in the interrupt is not responded normally.

The patch restrict the print times by ratelimit when memcg oom
triggers. And as for system level oom, we do not limit tht case
because it will panic later.

It is because too much memcg oom printed message will trigger the softlockup.
In general, we use the same ratelimit oom_rc between system and memcg
to limit the print message. But it is more frequent to exceed its limit
of the memcg, thus it would will result in oom easily. And A lot of
printed information will be outputed. It's likely to trigger softlockup.

The patch use different ratelimit to limit the memcg and system oom. And
we test the patch using the default value in the memcg, The issue will
go.

These configs also support the x64 arm platform.

Don't pass error pointers to brelse().

commit 7159a986b420 ("ext4: fix some error pointer dereferences") has fixed
some cases, fix the remaining one case.

Once ext4_xattr_block_find()->ext4_sb_bread() failed, error pointer is
stored in @bs->bh, which will be passed to brelse() in the cleanup
routine of ext4_xattr_set_handle(). This will then cause a NULL panic
crash in __brelse().

We account iowait when the cgroup's se is idle, and it has blocked
task on the hierarchy of se->my_q.

To achieve this, we also add cg_nr_running to track the hierarchical
number of blocked tasks. We do it when a blocked task wakes up or

        steal = elapse - idle - sum_exec_raw - ineffective

Where elapse is the time since the cgroup is created. sum_exec_raw is
the running time including IRQ time. ineffective is the total time that
the cpuacct-binded cpuset doesn't allow this cpu for the cgroup.

Since we concern idle, let's take idle as the center state. And omit

In the hooked functions, we also check the conditions, to avoid
accounting unwanted cpu clocks.

For container only cases, since guest cputime is always 0, we don't
calculate it and return 0 directly before.

Howerver, when running vm inside a cgroup, we expect the cgroup to
maintain guest cputime correctly.

It's relatively easy to maintain nr_uninterruptible in scheduler
compared to doing it in cpuacct, we assume that "cpu,cpuacct" are
bound together, so that it can be used for per-cgroup load.

This will be needed to calculate per-cgroup load average later.

Florian and Dave reported [1] a NULL pointer dereference in
__reset_isolation_pfn().  While the exact cause is unclear, staring at
the code revealed two bugs, which might be related.

One bug is that if zone starts in the middle of pageblock, block_page
might correspond to different pfn than block_pfn, and then the
pfn_valid_within() checks will check different pfn's than those accessed
via struct page.  This might result in acessing an unitialized page in
CONFIG_HOLES_IN_ZONE configs.

The other bug is that end_page refers to the first page of next
pageblock and not last page of current pageblock.  The online and valid
check is then wrong and with sections, the while (page < end_page) loop
might wander off actual struct page arrays.
