The spinlock in traps_64.c is used without initialization. This fixes it by declaring DEFINE_SPINLOCK() and makes the spinlock static variable. This is needed to fix up the build at the moment. Gradually this will be reworked to follow the 32-bit initialization path and deal with delayed VBR initialization. Signed-off-by: NPaul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

For consistency drop & in front of every proc_handler. Explicity taking the address is unnecessary and it prevents optimizations like stubbing the proc_handlers to NULL. Now that sys_sysctl is a generic wrapper around /proc/sys .ctl_name and .strategy members of sysctl tables are dead code. Remove them. Also add an C99 named initializer to the child member of unaligned_root to prevent chaos as the ctl_table definition changes over time. Cc: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org> Signed-off-by: NEric W. sh64 has traditionally had this configurable via a Kconfig option (CONFIG_SH64_USER_MISALIGNED_FIXUP). In practice it has never really been terribly useful to turn this off, so just get rid of the option entirely. We leave the sysctl around so we don't end up breaking existing root file systems, and to allow folks that really want this off to do so at their own risk. One of the easiest things to isolate is the pid printed in kernel log. There was a patch, that made this for arch-independent code, this one makes so for arch/xxx files. It took some time to cross-compile it, but hopefully these are all the printks in arch code. The semantic effect of insert_at_head is that it would allow new registered sysctl entries to override existing sysctl entries of the same name. Which is pain for caching and the proc interface never implemented. I have done an audit and discovered that none of the current users of register_sysctl care as (excpet for directories) they do not register duplicate sysctl entries. So this patch simply removes the support for overriding existing entries in the sys_sysctl interface since no one uses it or cares and it makes future enhancments harder. Signed-off-by: NEric W. While doing the C99 conversion I notices that the top level sh64 directory was using the binary number for CTL_KERN. That is a no-no so I removed the support for the sysctl binary interface only leaving sysctl /proc support. At least the sysctl tables were placed at the end of the list so user space did not see this mistake. Signed-off-by: NEric W. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
