IDE subsystem has been deprecated since 2009 and the majority (if not all) of Linux distributions have switched to use libata for ATA support exclusively. However there are still some users (mostly old or/and embedded non-x86 systems) that have not converted from using IDE subsystem to libata PATA drivers. This doesn't seem to be good thing in the long-term for Linux as while there is less and less PATA systems left in use: * testing efforts are divided between two subsystems * having duplicate drivers for same hardware confuses users This patch converts ppc6xx_defconfig to use libata PATA drivers. CONFIG_KEYS_DEBUG_PROC_KEYS is no longer an option as /proc/keys is now mandatory if the keyrings facility is enabled (it's used by libkeyutils in userspace). The defconfig references were removed with: perl -p -i -e 's/CONFIG_KEYS_DEBUG_PROC_KEYS=y\n//' \ `git grep -l CONFIG_KEYS_DEBUG_PROC_KEYS=y` and the integrity Kconfig fixed by hand. It looks like it's ~4 years since we updated some of these, so do a bulk update. Verified that the before and after generated configs are exactly the same. Which begs the question why update them? The answer is that it can be confusing when the stored defconfig drifts too far from the generated result. Signed-off-by: NMichael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>

Move the driver to the place where it is expected to be nowadays. Also rename its CONFIG-name to match the rest and adapt the defconfigs. Finally, move selection of REQUIRE_GPIOLIB or WANTS_OPTIONAL_GPIOLIB to the platforms, because this option is per-platform and not per-driver. The ns_cgroup is an annoying cgroup at the namespace / cgroup frontier and leads to some problems: * cgroup creation is out-of-control * cgroup name can conflict when pids are looping * it is not possible to have a single process handling a lot of namespaces without falling in a exponential creation time * we may want to create a namespace without creating a cgroup The ns_cgroup was replaced by a compatibility flag 'clone_children', where a newly created cgroup will copy the parent cgroup values. The userspace has to manually create a cgroup and add a task to the 'tasks' file. This patch removes the ns_cgroup as suggested in the following thread: https://lists.linux-foundation.org/pipermail/containers/2009-June/018616.html The 'cgroup_clone' function is removed because it is no longer used. This is a userspace-visible change. Commit 45531757 ("cgroup: notify ns_cgroup deprecated") (merged into 2.6.27) caused the kernel to emit a printk warning users that the feature is planned for removal. Since that time we have heard from XXX users who were affected by this. Signed-off-by: NDaniel Lezcano <daniel.lezcano@free.fr> Signed-off-by: NSerge E. Uwe Kleine-König reported: while working on an defconfig (arm/mx27) I noticed that just updating it[1] results in removing CONFIG_EEPROM_AT24=y. The reason is that since commit v2.6.36-5965-g5f2365d8 (misc devices: do not enable by default) MISC_DEVICES isn't enabled anymore by default. So all defconfigs that have CONFIG_SOME_SYMBOL=y (or =m) (with SOME_SYMBOL depending on MISC_DEVICES) but not CONFIG_MISC_DEVICES=y suffer from the same problem. This restores those misc devices to the powerpc defconfigs. This driver only reads the user EEPROM of that chip, so we can move it to the eeprom-directory in order to further clean up (and later remove) drivers/i2c/chips.
