Nobody seems to be producing !SMP systems anymore, so this is just becoming a source of kernel bugs, particularly if people want to use coherent DMA with non-shared pages. This patch forces CONFIG_SMP=y for arm64, removing a modest amount of code in the process. Signed-off-by: NWill Deacon <will.deacon@arm.com>

Remove unused and deprecated mc_capable() and smt_capable(). Both were added recently by f6e763b9 ("arm64: topology: Implement basic CPU topology support"). Uses of both were removed by 8e7fbcbc ("sched: Remove stale power aware scheduling remnants and dysfunctional knobs"). Add basic CPU topology support to arm64, based on the existing pre-v8 code and some work done by Mark Hambleton. This patch does not implement any topology discovery support since that should be based on information from firmware, it merely implements the scaffolding for integration of topology support in the architecture. No locking of the topology data is done since it is only modified during CPU bringup with external serialisation from the SMP code. The goal is to separate the architecture hookup for providing topology information from the DT parsing in order to ease review and avoid blocking the architecture code (which will be built on by other work) with the DT code review by providing something simple and basic. Following patches will implement support for interpreting topology information from MPIDR and for parsing the DT topology bindings for ARM, similar patches will be needed for ACPI. The affinity between ARM processors is defined in the MPIDR register. We can identify which processors are in the same cluster, and which ones have performance interdependency. We can define the cpu topology of ARM platform, that is then used by sched_mc and sched_smt. The default state of sched_mc and sched_smt config is disable. When enabled, the behavior of the scheduler can be modified with sched_mc_power_savings and sched_smt_power_savings sysfs interfaces. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
