From 0080a886b2297592a95c1286eadff54a1e33fb86 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: claudiob Date: Tue, 12 May 2015 14:51:19 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] =?UTF-8?q?[ci=20skip]=20Don=E2=80=99t=20encourage=20`sudo?= =?UTF-8?q?=20gem=20install`?= MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit I think we are better off leaving `sudo` outside of the documented way of installing gems (`activerecord`, `actionpack`, …). We don’t want newbies to think that `sudo` is required or, even worse, than they actually have to type `[sudo] gem install`. In most scenarios, `sudo` is not needed to install gems, and people who do need it, probably already know about it. What do you think? :grin: --- actionmailer/README.rdoc | 2 +- actionpack/README.rdoc | 2 +- actionview/README.rdoc | 2 +- activejob/README.md | 2 +- activemodel/README.rdoc | 2 +- activerecord/README.rdoc | 2 +- activesupport/README.rdoc | 2 +- 7 files changed, 7 insertions(+), 7 deletions(-) diff --git a/actionmailer/README.rdoc b/actionmailer/README.rdoc index a4e660d621..e5c2ed8c77 100644 --- a/actionmailer/README.rdoc +++ b/actionmailer/README.rdoc @@ -146,7 +146,7 @@ The Base class has the full list of configuration options.
