# @ohos.multimodalInput.touchEvent (Touch Event)

The **touchEvent** module provides touch (touchscreen) events reported by an input device.

> The initial APIs of this module are supported since API version 9. Newly added APIs will be marked with a superscript to indicate their earliest API version.

## Action

Enumerates touch event types.

## Touch

Defines the touch point information.
