From a6dae092a2bacc59d5c7ca6292f892a556b57ae9 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Feng Tang Date: Thu, 14 Feb 2019 20:48:09 +0800 Subject: [PATCH] panic: add options to print system info when panic happens mainline inclusion from mainline-5.0 commit d999bd9392de category: bugfix bugzilla: 6829 CVE: NA ------------------------------------------------- Kernel panic issues are always painful to debug, partially because it's not easy to get enough information of the context when panic happens. And we have ramoops and kdump for that, while this commit tries to provide a easier way to show the system info by adding a cmdline parameter, referring some idea from sysrq handler.
