From 281efb17d88a91dc3b879bb1d49e3a66daf48797 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Kay Sievers Date: Tue, 6 Jan 2009 14:42:57 -0800 Subject: [PATCH] edac: struct device: replace bus_id with dev_name(), dev_set_name() This patch is part of a larger patch series which will remove the "char bus_id[20]" name string from struct device. The device name is managed in the kobject anyway, and without any size limitation, and just needlessly copied into "struct device".
