This simplies the code and resolves a possible race condition between
ir_raw_decode_timer_end() and saa7134_raw_decode_irq().

If the interrupt handler is called after ir_raw_decode_timer_end()
calls ir_raw_event_handle() but before clearing ir->active, then the
timer won't be rearmed.

Compile tested only.

It avoids the white noise on the pulseaudio startup.

If the said config optio is not set, the compiler will spill out many
warnings about statements with no effect, such as:

Casting the zero to void will cure the warning.

All the modified drivers didn't have any version increment since
Jan, 1 2011. Several of them didn't have any version increment
for a long time, even having new features and important bug fixes
happening.

As we're now filling the QUERYCAP version with the current Kernel
Release, we don't need to maintain a per-driver version control
anymore. So, let's just use the default.

In order to preserve the Kernel module version history, a
KERNEL_VERSION() macro were added to all modified drivers, and
the extraver number were incremented.

I opted to preserve the per-driver version control to a few
pwc, pvrusb2, s2255, s5p-fimc and sh_vou.

A few drivers are still using the legacy way to handle ioctl's.
So, we can't do such change on them, otherwise, they'll break.
Those are: uvc, et61x251 and sn9c102.

The rationale is that the per-driver version control seems to be
actively maintained on those.

Yet, I think that the better for them would be to just use the
default version numbering, instead of doing that by themselves.

While here, removed a few uneeded include linux/version.h

This card has a TD18271 silicon tuner, and uses TDA8290 and LGS8G75 to
demodulate analog and digital broadcast respectively.  GPIO configurations
were derived using DScaler regspy.

The Remote Controller subsystem is meant to be used not only by Infra Red
but also for similar types of Remote Controllers. The core is not specific
to Infra Red. As such, rename:
	- ir-core.h to rc-core.h
	- IR_CORE to RC_CORE
	- namespace inside rc-core.c/rc-core.h

To be consistent with the other changes.

No functional change on this patch.

Now, just one old bttv board uses the old RC5 raw decoding routines.
Its conversion to rc-core requires the generation of IRQ data for both
positive and negative transitions at the IRQ line. I'm not sure if
bttv driver supports it or if the transitions will be reliable enough.
So, due to the lack of hardware for testing, the better for now is to
just move the legacy routines to bttv driver, and wait for someone with
a Nebula Digi could help to port it to use also rc-core raw decoders.

FM 5.3. As it is now using the standard rc-core raw decoders, lots
of old code can be removed from saa7134.

This change adds support for Avermedia M733A. The original version for
linux 2.6.31 was sent to me from Avermedia, original author is unknown.
I ported it to current kernels, expanded and fixed key code handling for
RM-K6 remote control, and added an additional pci id also supported.

Especially when IR needs to do polling, it generates lots of wakeups per
second. This makes no sense, if the input event device is closed.

Adds a callback handler to the IR hardware driver, to allow registering
an open/close ops.

Adds new capture boards Hawell HW-404M7 and HW-808M7. Those cards have 4
or 8 SAA7130 chips and for the work it only needs initialize registers.
The value of those registers were dumped under Windows using flytest.
But board haven't EEPROM.

For the first chip:

Recent fixes to the em28xx and saa7134 drivers have been overzealous.
While the ir-kbd-i2c platform data indeed needs to be persistent, the
struct i2c_board_info doesn't, as it is only used by i2c_new_device().

So revert a part of the original fixes, to save some memory.

V4L/DVB (13168): Add support for Asus Europa Hybrid DVB-T card (SAA7134 SubVendor ID: 0x1043 Device ID: 0x4847)

Adds the device IDs and driver linking to allow the Asus Europa DVB-T
card to operate with these drivers.
The device has a SAA7134 chipset with a TD1316 Hybrid Tuner.
All inputs work on the card including switching between DVB-T and
Analogue TV, there is also no IR with this card.

When FORCE_TS_VALID mode is enabled, the saa713x will accept MPEG TS input
without requiring TS_VALID set high.  This is required for some new boards
to function properly, due to the hardware design implementation.

The configuration is toggled within the board setup configuration.  Boards
that do not have this bit set will function as before with no change.

test status analog (PAL-B):
- Sometimes picture is noisy, but it becomes crystal clear after
  switching between channels. (happens for example at 687.25 Mhz)
- On a lower frequency (511.25 Mhz) the picture is always sharp, but
  lacks colour.
- No sound problems.
- radio untested.

Digital:
- DVB-T/H stream reception works.
- Would expect to see some more channels in the higher frequency region.

Overall is the impression that sensitivity still needs improvement
both in analog and digital modes.

ir-kbd-i2c's ir_probe() function can be called much later (i.e. at
ir-kbd-i2c module load), than the lifetime of a struct IR_i2c_init_data
allocated off of the stack in cx18_i2c_new_ir() at registration time.
Make sure we pass a pointer to a persistent IR_i2c_init_data object at
i2c registration time.

Thanks to Brian Rogers, Dustin Mitchell, Andy Walls and Jean Delvare to
rise this question.

Before this patch, if ir-kbd-i2c were probed after SAA7134, trash data
were used.

Compile tested only, but the patch is identical to em28xx one. So, it
should work properly.
